Native American Rubber

Rubber was invented by The Olmec Peoples of Mesoamerica in 1500 BC – 400 BC. Native Americans used rubber in clothing, ceremonies, tools, toys (rubber balls), and many other utilitarian uses. They used rubber because rubber has no allergic properties, is easy to grow, and low-maintenance. Today rubber is a vital part of our world, economy, etc. In some way or form, rubber is used in 57% of things. Rubber is made from the sap of the rubber tree, mostly found in the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil, and plays a vital role in today’s economy, industries, education, daily lives, etc. Rubber today is used in tires, plastic gloves, door stops, anti slip, shoes, erasers, and many many more objects.
